Pupil Premium 2018/19

The Pupil Premium Grant provides funding for:

  • Raising the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and closing the gap with their peers

  • Supporting children and young people with parents in the armed forces

Schools are free to spend the PPG as they see fit but are responsible for its use with the target groups.  The grant does not all have to be spent within the financial year and some or all of it may be carried forward.  The governing body is responsible for the outcomes on achievement of the use of this funding.

Tracking

All teachers track the interventions that students in receipt of pupil premium receive.  The attainment data is also recorded on the tracking document to easily identify pupils not making expected progress within the year.  The document outlines which interventions the pupil has received each term, but more importantly the impact these interventions have made.
