  • Year 11 students join in National Citizen Service Week

    NCS is a life-changing programme open to all teenagers aged 15-17 to discover who they are and what they can do. The Students have been given the opportunity to explore, be inspired and find a passion.

     Over 500,000 young people of all abilities from areas across the country have already taken part in this programme.

    . NCS is a four-phase programme specifically designed to provide students with all sorts of new experiences. Whether they are a daredevil or creative genius, talkative or more reserved, they have been given the opportunity to find out how much they’re actually capable of, coming away with a host of new skills and bags of confidence!

    On Monday the students went to Portland College and took part in bush craft activities with the Adventure Service.

    On Tuesday the students went to The Mill Adventure Base where participated in water sports.

    On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the students attended Portland College where took part in orienteering, team work challenges, pizza making and making garden boxes for Aptcoo.

    As you can see from the photos. We all had lots of fun!!!

  • KS3 Residential a great success

    Monday to Wednesday this week, 20 students from KS3 took part in a range of team building and adventurous activities.  It was a fantastic 3 days and a big thank you to all the staff for the extra time and effort before and during the trip.
