We are delighted to announce that on Thursday 1st October, as part of the Great Athletes programme, Bracken Hill will welcome GB Bobsleigh athlete and sprinter Joel Fearon!

Joel will be visiting school to share his incredible experiences as an elite sportsperson and deliver an inspiring assembly for our pupils. He will also lead a short, fun fitness circuit, giving every pupil the opportunity to get involved and experience the excitement of being active!

What is Great Athletes?

Great Athletes brings Olympians, Paralympians, World Champions and other elite athletes into primary schools across the UK. Their aim is to provide unforgettable experiences that encourage children to believe in themselves, stay active and dream big.

Each visit includes:

• 🏅 An inspiring assembly led by an elite athlete

• 💪 An inclusive fitness circuit for all pupils to take part in

• 🌟 An opportunity for children to learn about the athlete's journey and the dedication it takes to reach the highest level of sport

• ⚽ The chance to raise funds towards new sports equipment for the school

Best of all, the visit comes at no cost to the school.
