Dear Parents/Carers,
Welcome back to the spring term. We have had a great start to the new term, and it has been lovely to see everyone back in school and ready to learn!
As we come into a new term, we wanted to remind you about the importance of good attendance for all our pupils in school.
We will, as always, continue to take a compassionate approach to pupils’ attendance and will continue to work closely with parents and consider factors such as illness and existing medical conditions that may hinder or prevent pupils attending school.
If your child is absent, please inform the school of the reason by 9:00am on the first day of absence, either by phone or via the Seesaw app.
We regularly review every pupil’s attendance and following government guidelines, we monitor more closely when attendance falls below 90%. In these cases, you may receive a letter with your child’s attendance percentage and an offer of support to help improve it, if needed. Should attendance continue to decline, we’ll arrange a meeting to discuss further support.
Our goal is to work together to help every pupil succeed, and we’re here to help wherever possible. For more details click here to read our Attendance Policy.
Thank you for your ongoing support, and we look forward to a fantastic term ahead
Yours sincerely,
Mrs Jefferies
Assistant Headteacher
