Community Liaison
Community Liaison: Carrey McLoughlin
In my role as school's Community Liaison I give support in many different ways to our pupils and families.
Firstly, I am here to support every parent, no matter what the situation is. Whether it be behavioural, financial, form filling or just being a friendly ear to listen and advise – as best I can!
I refer students and families to outside agencies including referrals to Early Help, Child Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), Children’s Bereavement Centre and will support applications with Short Breaks (befriending). I foster positive relationships between school, home and the community, and will collaborate with community organisations to meet the needs of students/families.
I do regular home visits (COVID permitting) or phone calls to lots of various families.
